Covid-19 vaccination programme for children at district-upazila level begins Oct 11

In a bid to prevent Coronavirus or Covid-19 infection, the vaccination program for children aged 5 to 11 years is going to start at the district and upazila level from October 11.

Under this program, some 2 crore 26 lakh 38 thousand 737 children of the country will be brought under vaccination.

Dr Md Anwar Hossain Howlader, secretary of the health services division at the ministry of health and family welfare, revealed this information at a function titled ‘National Advocacy Workshop on Covid-19 Vaccination Program for 5-11 year old children’ organised at Hotel Radisson in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
